Published in some books...

I found out this week that a photo of mine is on the cover of a German schoolbook. And the model is my daughter with her pony! It's title is Kinder Wisson, published by Bertlesmann in Germany. Thanks to my agency for the sale.

I also had photos published in a book titled The Forth Branch by Michael Rees and another book titled Climate Change, Headline Issues by Angela Royston and Megan Cotugno. Also thanks to my agency for the sales.

In addition, EFOY Fuel Cells in Germany purchased rights to a photo for one of their ads. Also, more locally, Robin Run Village is running a print campaign with some of my work in area newspapers including the Indianapolis Star.

Sarah Sneak Peek....

Sarah is a senior at Sheridan with an infectious smile! She was a lot of fun to work with and did a great job. We had some cool and windy weather but there were no complaints from her while we were outside. She is a star soccer player on our girls varsity team but didn't get to play this year unfortunately due to a knee injury. She is heading to IUPUI next fall and will be playing soccer there!

Sheridan U12 Soccer Tournament

The past weekend was the Sheridan U12 Girls soccer tourney at Adams Elementary with both Sheridan teams and teams from Pendleton, Noblesville and Tipton in attendance. Si DeVaney put on a great tournament and the location was very nice. The Marion-Adams PTO was manning the concession stand with lots of food. The main soccer field that the varsity teams play on was divided into two smaller fields to have a couple games going on at one time. Our Sheridan 6th grade team lost the finals 4-3 in a nail biter that got a little rowdy at times (at least with the Tipton folks). All the girls from all the team played very physical and put on a great show despite the flu running thru some of the teams. Here's a few shots of many more on our website under the Sheridan link.

AJ sneak peek...

First off, congrats to AJ for being elected the Homecoming King for Sheridan last Friday! When AJ came in it was raining so we did our studio session and rescheduled for outdoors. Of course, that day rolls around and it's dismal outside so we have rescheduled again and hope we get nicer weather next time. AJ is one of the co-captains of the awesome boys soccer team that we had this year. We had a good time shooting in the studio but I hope we can get outside before too long and it starts snowing!

Sheridan Volleyball...

Unlike my last blog post, you don't have to worry about weather when going to a volleyball game. It was 72 and dry in the gym. This game was a couple weeks ago. I didn't have a whole lot of time but stopped by the to watch the girls play for about 20 minutes. Here's a few shots. More are posted on our website.

Sheridan Homecoming Night....

Well....it was great weather wasn't it? ;-( I watched the radar all day and the rain finally left a little before game time. When I walked out of the studio to drive to the stadium it felt a little warmer and halfway decent. But I was wrong....the buildings on Main Street were blocking some of the cold wind. When I got to the stadium the drizzle really started to hit along with the wind coming off the fields. Everybody looked cold. We just are not used to this weather yet. The game was a sloppy mess and made ball handling difficult. By halftime I think everybody was freezing. Congratulations to Shae Yant and AJ Miller for being elected Queen and King. They are both clients of mine for senior photos this year. I left after halftime since I was frozen, my equipment was drenched (thank goodness for great weather-seals on the cameras), and I hadn't had dinner yet. I hope Senior night this Friday will be a little nicer but it already sounds like it's going to be cold. What happened to our Indian Summer????

Shae! Congrats to the Sheridan Homecoming Queen!

Congratulations to Shae, the Sheridan High School Homecoming Queen for 2009! She is a senior client of mine and we shot her photos toward the end of summer. Luckily the weather was a lot nicer on our shooting day than it was for homecoming last Friday! We got a bunch of great shots and here is just a little sampling!
