That seems like an appropriate title for this post since Alana's mom was both my kids 3rd grade teacher and Chad's mom works at the library. They came up from Fishers on a nice afternoon that threatened to rain but left out town dry. They even drove through showers on the way to the studio. Avery was a ham for the camera and little Conner was more active than I thought possible but we got him to stay still for a split second every now and then to get a shot! We gave him lots of playtime to run around in the park to try and wear him out. I wish I had that kind of energy!

Sheridan Varsity Football vs. Benton Central
High School Soccer Team Photo Information...
There is a change to the schedule for the boys and girls Varsity Soccer team photos...The new date has been pushed up from Oct. 2nd to Sept. 30th at 3:15 pm. We will shoot team and individual photos at the soccer field. We will be shooting the girls first so they can get to the game in Tipton. Some parents asked if we could change it so the players could have a full three day weekend off before sectionals. Info and order flyers will be out next week. We just took over this job from the previous company so we are getting things ready fast! See you Wednesday. Check with Coach Prange for the latest info.

SMS 6th Grade Football vs Western Boone
Last Wednesday our 6ht grade team traveled to Western Boone for a game with the Stars. We had a bright, very sunny afternoon with a cool breeze that made perfect football weather. Why do I go to the 6th grade games? I gotta go see my son play! #24. Our Hawks won 30-0 in a dominating performance and are now 3-0 for the season. Keep it up boys! Anyway, I just posted the whole shoot on my website under the Sheridan link if you want to check out more.
Jordan...
Jordan is a senior at Sheridan this year and came in for a Plus Session. In 2 hours we covered several locations and got a lot accomplished! Jordan did a great job and was a pleasure to work with. Here are just a few of many photos we took. Don't forget seniors, the yearbook photo deadline is coming up fast!

Chris and Jody's family....
Chris's mom got his family a gift certificate from my studio last Christmas and we set up a time for late summer. Chris and Jody built a new house and wanted to get some family photos on the property. We had a nice clear day but lots of heat! We got lots of great shots and even got the kitty to cooperate!

Sheridan Middle School 6th Grade Football
There's some fun football to watch out there on Wednesday evenings with the 6th grade team at the middle school. They are 2-0 so far with comfortable wins over Hamilton Heights and Clinton Central. They are a fun group of kids to shoot some action and even though they are "only" 6th graders, there is some hard hittin' going on out there!

Boys Varsity Soccer....
The Sheridan guys played Tri-Central last Thursday and obliterated them. It's great to see them work together so well! Half the game was played under the lights since the girls games started late with Rossville not showing up on time. While it was a late night, it was well worth it for both the boys and girls!

Baby Kaleb...
Little baby Kaleb is 2 weeks old. Understandably proud Mom and Dad came in to get his first portraits. Wow... I forget how small and precious newborns are! They are truly God's gifts and little miracles. We had a nice un-rushed session and captured some really great images. It took me back again to when my kids were little and all the cute little sounds and faces babies make. It's pretty cool to take a small switch from shooting senior portraits of young men and women stepping into adulthood and going back to the beginnings of life when the child has the whole future ahead of them. I look forward to more portraits as Kaleb gets older!

Caleb....
This little, well-traveled guy stopped by the studio with his mom and dad on his from the country of Cypress to his new home in Washington DC! Via Sheridan, Indiana! But, of course, everybody knows that Sheridan is a favorite stopover for international travelers. :)
Caleb's mom actually grew up here and they were visiting family and had a session a day before they left for their new adventures. He was an awesome kid and a lot of fun. I just wish he let me keep his cool tractor!
