Twenty-five years ago today in Muncie two teens were found shot to death in their car in Muncie's Westside Park. I was a staff photographer at the Muncie Star and the Muncie Evening Press at them time. I saw the article today on the Muncie StarPress website and it brought back the memories of the killings that gripped the town. I wasn't working the night of the shooting but remembered a few days later I was at the Police Dept when they were going over the car that the bodies were found in. It was really spooky with the broken window from the bullet and blood on the inside. The killer was never found though there are theories and hundreds of hours of investigation. The Star has a decent recap of the events and timeline from the events and the lives involved now 25 years later. They had the article and photo posted from when I was there while they were processing the car.

It was another great game for the Blackhawks on Friday night as they dominated Delphi 47-6. A lot of the boys were really stepping up. All the shots are online at our website at www.sauterphoto.com. Here are a select few....

Here are a few photos from the session with Erica. She is a 2011 Senior at Sheridan. We had a great time shooting around town. It was tough editing her session from so many photos down to a select 70 or so! More photos coming next week! Thanks Erica!

I hit only the first half of the Sheridan-Clinton Central game last night because I had to get ready for senior photo sessions today. It was a beautiful evening again and the boys were looking good. They went on to shut out Clinton Central 30-0. All the photos from the first half are up on our website under the Sheridan link!

Last Friday was football weather! That means it was a little cold for me but that's OK. I've stood out there in a lot worse weather. The game was a nail-biter to the end. Our fumbles in the first half were scary but things started working out in the middle of the game and the Sheridan boys came back for the win 26-25 with a last minute stop of Twin Lakes 2 point conversion attempt. Wow. All the the photos from the game are up on our website now under the Sheridan link on the home page. Hit the slideshow button and enjoy!
