Published in a few more books...

I've recently found out that my photos have been published in three more books recently. The first book is kind of funny because it's all about something I am not very good at....math. Yech. The book is titled Math Insights by Hoon, Hoon and Quinn and is a textbook for grade school kids in southeast Asia. By the second lesson I was totally confused, no wonder they say education is terrible here. The elementary kids over there are doing math that I barely got through in high school.

The next book is called Courage by Kimberley Jane Pryor. It's published by Marshall, Cavendish, Benchmark. It's written for kids to help them with values in todays world.

The third book is titled Saving Our Habitats by Leopard Learning and is part of the Brainworks series. This is another book geared towards children. I've been having a lot published in childrens books over the past year.

Nathan...

Nathan is a Sheridan HS senior ready to graduate next week. We just took his senior photos a couple weeks ago and had a great time. He was full of energy and willing to try anything for a shot. Heck, he even had me climbing up the side of a corn bin, how high I don't know but I was hanging on for dear life with my camera strapped to me. Thanks Nathan! Great job!

What a Face!

My daughter and I went up to Veterans Park in town a couple weeks ago after she spied the foxes behind the cabin. I was out shooting a senior when she went to look for them. After I was finished with my appointment we went up there before the sun go too far down and enjoyed watching them for a little while. This is the second year we have had foxes up there that I know of. They sure are adorable!

Mom had to come out and give me the eyeball for a little bit....

Adams Elementary 5th Grade Camp

The annual 5th Grade camp trip was a rousing success again this year with the kids having a great time! The kids favorite activity was probably the Gaga Pit with the Big Swing coming in a closed second. I took the group photo at Adams on the day they left for Camp Crosley and also loaned a camera to Doug Gibson to shot photos of the kids and activities thru the weekend. This was the last class for the beloved old Adams Elementary building as the kids will be moving to the new school in the fall. This group of 5th graders (The Class of 2017) will be heading off to middle school next year! Here's one of the group photos...

DQ...

Another of the many Sheridan seniors we shot this year is Daniel. Great student, baseball player, soccer player and all-around nice guy. :-) We shot in studio, at the baseball and soccer fields and at his family farm. We were at the farm in the fall at harvest time and his dad was kind enough to stop the combine for a couple shots. Thanks Daniel and good luck in the future!

SHS Varsity Softball

Watched a great game with the varsity girls this week. I got there and it was a beautiful sunny day and then the clouds from the west blew in by the 4th inning and the temperature dropped and the rain came. Spring Indiana weather! All photos are on the website in the gallery under the Sheridan link.
