Oh my gosh, was Brock a Happy Baby when he came in! We had such a good time shooting this little guy who's just 6 months old. He had me cracking up with all his different faces and laughs he was making. You just gotta love a happy baby!
Local landmark Picketts Sorgham factory in Bakers Corner caught fire and burned to the ground today. Unfortunatley the Picketts are saying they will not rebuild since most of the equipment is lost. Sheridan has lost a long-standing business and lot's of local history. Assisting Sheridan Fire was Westfield, Zionsville, Cicero, Jackson Twp., Tipton Cicero Twp. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family.
Meet our three Senior Reps for Sheridan High School Class of 2010. Abby, Joey and Kayla. With the coming school year you can see them for money saving referral cards! We are proud to have these three great young people representing our studio. More on them coming soon...
A quick congrats to Kayla for being the Clinton County 4H Fair Queen Runner-Up. In addition to that she won Clinton County's Supreme Showman. Congratulations Kayla! See Kayla for your Clinton Central senior referrals!
Kayla is our Clinton Central rep for the Class of 2010! She is a very active girl who is running for the Clinton County Fair Queen in a week. I wish her the best of luck! She's also active in the FFA, 4H, sports and much more. Clinton Central isn't far at all from my studio and we are more than willing to travel to you! I'll be posting her music video soon so stay tuned!
Ya gotta love a 4-year-old boys energy! Eli is no exception. He's a fun kid that keeps moving and asking questions. His mom thought it was time for some photos of him so we shot a high-key session on white for a fresh, clean look to go with his cool duds!
Melanie comes to us by way of Frankfort High School! (Hey, it's not that far from Sheridan!) She will be a senior this coming year and is involved in 4H. We actually had some nice weather for a shoot for a change with no rain coming down on us! We had a lot of fun!
Michael just graduated from Sheridan, while we took these before graduation I am just now getting around to updating the blog. We had a good time shooting these. After all, he has a Mustang GT and I used to also. Though mine was a few years ago. He just had his open house, sorry I was out of town. And all the other open houses I was invited to on graduation day, I wish I could have made those but my son had a soccer tournament in Carmel all day. Congrats again to all the 2009 High School Graduates!
Ashley and I shot on a cloudy day knowing that the rain might be coming sometime. We got our studio shots done and headed out where the weather cooperated for a little while. By the time we got to the creek the skies started opening up! Well, I was game for still going if she was. My cameras are high-end pro cameras with great weather sealing so what the heck. We had awesome shots through the day but some of my favorite shots were out there in the pouring rain at that creek! They are really stunning (though it's hard to tell with the small files here on the blog). Congrats on your graduation Ashley, I'm sure your life will be full of sunny days and surprising accomplishments in the future!
Siera is another graduate for 2009 who only has another week of school. She was in last week for her Senior Photos and, man, we had a great time! We shot in our studio and outdoors all around including the school, with her dad at the firehouse, and her friend Lee's house. She also came in the next day with Briana for some friend photos. We had a ton of photos and after editing for several hours I got about 350 awesome ones to present to Siera and her mom and dad. It took a little while and then we got that down to about 150 steller shots! Here are just a few...If you want one of her wallets you better show up to her open house she says! Thanks Siera, mom and dad, you guys did a great job!
Special thanks to Robert (and Acacia) at the Sheridan Chamber for featuring my studio as the Gold Member of the month in the Sheridan Chamber Chat newsletter! I appreciate the support and help the Chamber has given me over the past year! Visit the SCC website.
