Guarding our Seas...

I did a quick shoot for a US Coast Guard Auxiliary Commander and his son, who is a Petty Officer in the US Navy before his shore leave was over.  He is currently deployed on the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise in the middle east.  The Enterprise is on it's last mission before being decommissioned after 50 years of service.  I thank both of them for their service to our country!

And now for something completely different...

 A project for a client came up and I have been playing around with Photoshop painting and using a Wacom tablet and pen with the computer.  I've had an interest is doing more of this but time was always an issue, until I was forced into doing it!  It's an interesting departure from my usual photo-realistic and gritty style punctuated by razor sharp images and gritty detail.  It's kind-of fun to play around with something different!  These were some of my first images.

Josh, HSE Class of 2012

 Josh is a senior at Hamilton Southeastern HS in Fishers this year.  After graduating he is enlisting in the Navy and going to SEAL training.  I have no doubt that he will make it in his goals!  He is a US Naval Sea Cadet and has reached the top rank in the corps and received many awards.  Here's a sneak peak at some of his senior photos.  Thanks Josh and best of luck for the future!

Audrea!

  I had a blast shooting Audrea at her family farm.  How can you not have fun with all the critters there!  Including Bear, the big black dog, that wanted to be in every photo.  He was so cool.  Audrea and I battled massive wind that day but she was great to work with and we got through it.  I love their farm, it's a slice of Americana!  Thanks Audrea!!
