Amanda and I had a great time shooting her senior photos! She is a senior at Westfield High School and an accomplished musician who plays in the different bands at school. It sounds like she had a great school career in band and is lucky enough to be traveling to Disney World this week to perform and have some fun!

Sheridan Baseball

I made it to some of the Varsity and JV games last week. Varsity played Carroll and had a strong win defeating them 11-1. The JV team played North Montgomery and lost 11-8 after having an early lead. It was fun to get back out and shoot some baseball again.

Steven...

Steven, his mom, and I went to Brown County for his senior photos right at the tail-end of fall. We didn't have many leaves left up here in Sheridan but Brown County State Park was still full of them. We lucked out on the weather because it was raining when they came to the studio and on an off in Brown County. But the sun would still peek out at times. We went to several spots that their family has been going to every year for reunions. Pretty cool. It was also the first time I'd been actually in the park...ever! I always heard so much about it but had only been to Nashville a few times so it was neat to see the actual park. Thanks, Steven!

Jake....

Jake, another of the starting Blackhawk football players, came in for our Plus session and we went to several locations around town including his church, his Dad's business and the football stadium. His dog was slightly intimidating at first but he was just a big sweetheart! Still, if I came across him in a dark alley and he growled I'd probably climb the nearest tree.

Sheridan Basketball Homecoming 2010

Homecoming finally came around after being snowed out the first time. It looks like a good time was had by all the kids. Congrats to the Queen, Sarah Carlisle, who had her senior photos done at our studio! Also congrats to Linden Daiss, another senior client of ours, who got a total of 371 points here at SHS and was recognized at half-time. A full gallery is up on our website!

Josh...

Josh is a 2010 senior at Olentangy Liberty High School in Powell, Ohio. He was in Sheridan on a sightseeing vacation...uh...well, not really. He is my nephew actually. My wife's brother and his family was visiting and we fit in a senior session before they went back to Ohio. They put off senior photos all fall to wait to get over here so we could do them. Josh runs cross country, works as a life guard in the summer, is an Eagle Scout and a straight A student. Way to go Josh and good luck with the deciding on colleges!

Justin...

Justin is a Sheridan senior this year. He came in for a Plus session a while back. (Yep, I'm way behind on the blog) We shot in the studio while it was pouring rain outside and then rescheduled for a different day to get the outdoor shots. Looks like he'll be heading off to my alma mater, Ball State! Thanks Justin and good luck in the future.
